Organ Grinders are Thriving
Organ grinders in Switzerland are still thriving and have beautifully hand-crafted machines that put out top rate music. The pride these men take in their craft is wonderful. The grinder's bag and key is a traditional accompaniment. The key is for the organ and opens the drawer where the rolls of music are kept.

So thats how they make the music, rolls like a player piano? I love this post, its probably something I'll never get to experience in this lifetime, thanks for sharing this with all the great pictures. Is there anywhere on the web that I could hear the music? hmmmm, a radio station perhaps?
